Access assessments of New England’s wholesale electricity markets and other related documents prepared by the ISO’s Internal Market Monitor (IMM). These materials complement the work done by the ISO’s External Market Monitor.
Contact the Internal Market Monitor to report potential violations of market rules and procedures.
These reports present the IMM’s most important findings, market outcomes, and market design changes of New England’s wholesale electricity markets on a quarterly and annual basis. The IMM submits these reports simultaneously to the 小草社区and to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
The IMM is an 小草社区department composed of economists, engineers, statisticians, and analysts. It functions independently of 小草社区management and reports directly to the 小草社区Board of Directors’ Markets Committee. Along with regular market assessments and reporting, the IMM is also responsible for the daily detection and mitigation (lessening) of the effects of any anti-competitive behavior in the wholesale markets or market products. This includes actions or transactions that are intended to (or foreseeably could) manipulate market prices, market conditions, or market rules.
