Before you (the interconnection customer [IC]) submit an Interconnection Request (IR) to the 小草社区to interconnect a new generating facility or elective transmission upgrade (ETU) or modify an existing facility, you must determine whether your project will be interconnecting to the ISO-administered transmission system under the ISO’s process or interconnecting through the state process. “Interconnection Process” training is available on the Training Materials webpage.
The ISO-administered transmission system consists of: Pool-transmission facilities (PTFs)—everything 100 kV and above and all grandfathered 69 kV—and Non-PTF.
Use the chart in this section to assess whether the interconnection process applies to your project. If you are not sure, please consult with the circuit owner and the 小草社区to determine whether the facility is part of the administered system for interconnection purposes.
To find out which interconnection process to follow, answer these questions:
Is your project interconnecting to the ISO-administered transmission system (i.e., a PTF or non鈥慞TF)?
Is your project exempt? Exemption:
Contact the distribution company/owner of the distribution facility.
Follow the 小草社区interconnection process.
